Terms of Service

By accessing or using NyayVichar ("Platform", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and NyayVichar Technologies Private Limited.

NyayVichar is an online marketplace that connects individuals ("Users") seeking legal assistance with independent, verified legal professionals ("Lawyers"). We also provide an AI-powered case analysis tool that generates informational briefs about legal matters. NyayVichar does not practice law and is not a party to any attorney-client relationship formed between Users and Lawyers through the Platform.

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to: • Provide accurate and complete registration information • Maintain the security of your account credentials • Promptly notify us of any unauthorised account access • Not share your account with any third party • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

The AI case analysis feature provides general legal information based on your description. You acknowledge that: • The analysis is not legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship • The AI may produce errors or omissions; always verify with a qualified lawyer • The AI confidence score is an internal measure and not a guarantee of accuracy • NyayVichar is not liable for any action taken based solely on the AI analysis

Initiating a contact request with a Lawyer requires payment of a non-refundable booking fee of ₹149 (inclusive of GST). This fee is: • Charged at the time of initiating the contact request • Processed securely via Razorpay • Converted to Platform Credit if the Lawyer declines or fails to respond within 24 hours • Non-refundable if the Lawyer accepts and a consultation is scheduled All amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR). GST is included in all displayed prices.

Platform Credits ("Credits") are issued when contact requests expire or are declined. Credits:\n• Have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for money\n• May have expiration dates as specified at the time of issuance\n• Can only be used towards future booking fees on the Platform\n• Are non-transferable between accounts

Lawyers on the Platform agree to: • Maintain valid Bar Council registration and comply with applicable professional regulations • Respond to contact requests within 24 hours of receipt • Provide accurate profile information including fees, practice areas, and qualifications • Maintain professional conduct in all communications • Not solicit Platform Users for business outside the Platform • Comply with the Bar Council of India Rules on Professional Standards

You agree not to: • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or to facilitate illegal activity • Upload false, misleading, or defamatory content • Harass, threaten, or abuse any Lawyer or other User • Attempt to circumvent or bypass Platform fees • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with Platform functionality • Impersonate any person or entity • Use the Platform to spam or send unsolicited communications

All Platform content, including but not limited to the AI analysis engine, design, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by or licensed to NyayVichar Technologies Private Limited and is protected by applicable Indian intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NyayVichar shall not be liable for:\n• The quality, accuracy, or outcome of any legal services provided by Lawyers\n• Any loss or damage arising from reliance on the AI case analysis\n• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages\n• Loss of data, business, or profits\n\nOur total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to NyayVichar in the 3 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra. We encourage resolution of disputes through our internal grievance mechanism before initiating legal proceedings.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered Users by email of material changes. Continued use of the Platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
